An allopathic examines patients, obtain medical histories, preform and interpret diagnostic test. They counsel patients about illness, injuries, health conditions and preventive healthcare. They also research and run medical centers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• ·      Preforms check-ups to diagnose developing disease or medical condition.
• ·      Interpret the test results in order to determine patient’s symptoms.
• ·      Suggests or recommends the treatment methods to patients.
• ·      Counsel patients on preventive, rehabilitate and dietary care.
• ·      They work for long hours within his clinic or in a healthcare facilities.   

Salary:

$150,000 - $300,000

Education:

First of all you need 10 – 15 years in school. You need bachelors and many have advanced degrees.

 

I do not want to be an allopathic because it takes to long to become one.

An allergist/immunologist is a physician who is certified in internal medicine or pediatrics. They need an additional two years of training in allergy and immunology at an accredited training program and pass an exam given by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.

Duties and Responsibilities:

An allergist / immunologist have to treat allergic diseases and immunological disorders in patients. They also have to find the cause of allergic irritants that trigger immune responses in the body. They do many things also like study and focus on epidemic aspects of allergies and immunology disorders.  

Salary: $171,223-$43,995

Education:

• ·      4 years of Undergraduate Study
• ·      Minimum of 3 years Medical School
• ·      2 years of Allergy and Immunology Training  

 I would not like to be an allergist / immunologist because I do not find it interesting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Acupuncturists take into account a patients physical, mental and emotional condition in order to determine the right treatment for the patient. Acupuncturists also help their patients achieve balance and wellness in their lives.

Salary:

An Acupuncturist salary ranges up to $75,000 to $80,000 a year.

Education:

  Acupuncturists have a masters or a post- baccalaureate from schools by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Most of these programs require 1,500 to 2,000 hours of acupuncture training. (This is 3 to 4 years.)

I would not like to be an Acupuncturists because putting needles into people seems interesting but it takes 3 to 4 years and that is to long.
